Colourful Ukrainian Vyshyvanka walk comes to Central London

Over one hundred Ukrainians marched through Central London on Saturday May 25, 2013, celebrating the traditional Ukrainian embroidery costume Vyshyvanka. The walk was held at the same time as a Vyshyvanka Mega march in Ukraine, which saw thousands of young Ukrainians come out on to the streets of the capital, Kyiv, dressed in traditional costume.  Vyshyvanka is the Ukrainian traditional clothing which contains elements of ethnic embroidery.
