Holodomor memorial service

On Saturday, November 23rd, 2.30PM, a memorial service will take place at the Holodomor memorial in West London, next to the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church. Representatives of the Ukrainian Embassy, Ukrainian Orthodox and Catholic churches, Ukrainian organisations and schoolchildren will convene at the memorial for a religious requiem and wreath laying ceremony to honour the millions of Ukrainians who were killed during the man-made famine of 1932/33. Ukrainian Medical Association of the UK – First annual fundraising event

Ukrainian Medical Association of the UK (UMAUK) First annual fundraising event, which will take place on the 16th of November, 2013 at the Ukrainian Institute, London.  The money raised on Saturday November 16th will fund educational visits to London for Ukrainian doctors specializing in Organ Transplantation, Anaesthesia, Pain Medicine or Intensive Care. As you probably know, previous Fellows, two Ukrainian doctors specializing in pain came over here to spend two weeks in the UK observing the management of acute pain.
