Ukrainian language classes re-launched

The Ukrainian Institute re-launches its Ukrainian language courses for learners at all levels (beginners, intermediate and advanced). The autumn term will commence on Thursday October 15, 2015 and will run till the week, ending on December 20. Evening classes will be held on Thursdays between 6:30 and 8:30pm. The classes are for non-Ukrainians and also for native or near-native speakers who, living outside Ukraine or the Ukrainian community, wish to maintain or improve their language competence. Marina Pesenti appointed Director of the Ukrainian Institute in London

The Rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University has appointed Marina Pesenti as Director of the Ukrainian Institute in London, after a selection competition conducted by the Steering Committee of the Institute. A native of Kyiv, Marina Pesenti has lived in the UK since 1998.  For nine years she presented BBC Ukrainian Service programmes, and later worked in public relations and event management, including as director of the Ukrainian Investment Summit in London.  Since 2014 she has been a volunteer representative in London of the Ukraine Crisis Media Centre.  Marina >>>

Over £93,000 raised for UCU at fundraising dinner in London
