Municipal Stadium was a baseball and football stadium located at the corner of Brooklyn Avenue and East 22nd Street in Kansas City. Municipal Stadium and its previously named counterparts were home to the minor league Kansas City Blues, the Negro League Kansas City Monarchs, and major league Athletics and Royals. The Kansas City Chiefs played there until 1971. The stadium was demolished in 1976.

Metropolitan Stadium opened in 1956 in Bloomington,Minnesota. The Met was home to the Minnesota Twins and Vikings from 1961 through 1981. The Mall of America sits on the location of the long gone stadium.
